Former BBB Paulo André thanked him, but did not accept the treat he would have received from Maíra Cardi, when he was still confined at the house of Big Brother Brasil 22 (Globo). The businesswoman and wife of the champion of the edition, Arthur Aguiar, had announced that she would present the athlete’s son for the “beautiful friendship” between the two participants within the reality.
This Wednesday (11), Paulo André explained the reason for refusing a fully decorated room for his eight-month-old son Peazinho. Maíra, who is also a coach, had even closed with several brands to give the boy as a gift, as a result of the sprinter’s relationship with influencer Thays Andreata.
“So during BBB, my team left it open so I could respond when I was out here. I thought it was a beautiful action, there really are a lot of children needing it. And that’s why I couldn’t accept it. I joined the program to give my family a better life, but thank God they never lacked anything, not even Peazinho. This room would be more valid for someone who can’t afford it, and who really needs it. It would be fairer”, replied Paulo André to the Gossip do Dia profile.
Paulo André, 23, who ended up being elected by the public as runner-up in the attraction, is the newest model from the WAY Model agency. He signed on and is now teammates with other names like Sasha Meneghel, Alessandra Ambrosio and Carol Trentini.
In a recent interview with F5, one day after the final that gave Arthur Aguiar the title of the season, Paulo André said that he wanted to take advantage of the opportunities as a musician and also as a model, in addition, of course, to continue dreaming of medals on the tracks. “I joined to give more visibility to the sport, we fight for athletics to be recognized. Athletics remains the thing I love the most”, he said.
