Widow of Paulo Gustavo thanks him affectionately and says he will be absent from the networks

Doctor Thales Bretas, widower of actor Paulo Gustavo, who died in May due to Covid-19 complications, used Instagram stories this Saturday afternoon (30) to thank the affection and support he has received from fans’ friends on the day of her husband’s birthday, who would turn 43 years old.

Wearing a T-shirt with the actor’s phrase “smiling is an act of resistance”, he said and that he will be absent from social networks this Saturday. “I’m not going to be able to follow everything here on the internet! I’m going to disconnect a little bit to process everything in real life with my family! If I don’t answer, I knew I received your affection”, wrote Bretas.

In the video shared on Instagram stories, he highlighted that October 30th was instituted as Humor Day, in Rio de Janeiro, and he is very happy with this tribute. Bretas reminded everyone that this Saturday the Multishow channel has a special program in honor of Paulo Gustavo.

At 9:30 pm, a special episode of the new season of “Vai Que Cola” will be aired, especially dedicated to him. The program will also be aired by Multishow’s Humor channel on YouTube, accessible to non-subscribers. The channel will also make a mapped projection that will illuminate the façade of the Museum of Contemporary Art, in Niterói, the city where the artist was born.

“I want to say that this love that we are emanating for sure is reaching him [Paulo Gustavo} onde quer que esteja. É preciso continuar sorrindo mesmo quando tudo parece muito difícil, porque rir é um ato de amor, de resistência e faz a vida ficar melhor”, afirmou Thales.

Mais cedo, a irmão do artista, Juliana Amaral, agradeceu o carinho dos fãs e afirmou que não deixará que a obra do irmão se encerre. “Podem aguardar, pois haverá sim projetos envolvendo o nome de Paulo Gustavo”, antecipou.

Ela também destacou que o dia 30 de outubro passou a ser celebrada como o Dia do Humor no estado do Rio, por meio de lei aprovada na Assembleia Legislativa. “Você era amor e humor, e sempre nos lembraremos que o humor salva, o humor cura, e que ele é amor”, escreveu.
