Anitta has not yet declared her vote, but she was present, in a way, at the wedding party of former president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT), 76, with sociologist Rosângela da Silva, to Janja, 55, on Wednesday night. Friday (18), in São Paulo. The dance floor set up in an event space on the south side of the capital filled up when the DJ hired to entertain the approximately 150 guests for the night played some of the funkeira hits. After the ceremony, celebrated in about ten minutes by Dom Angélico Sândalo Bernardino (with former governor and vice-president Geraldo Alckmin and his wife, Lu Alckmin, seated in the front row, next to the PT’s family), Lula and Janja quick speeches.
Everyone went to a hall, where dinner was served. The menu included crab canapés, meat carpaccio with semi-cured cheese, crayfish pastel, pupunha pastel, shrimp bobó bowls with palm farofa, jerky rice with bottled butter, in addition to an island of hot dishes and salads.
Desserts: Chocolate mousse with cocoa crunch, oven cocada with passion fruit syrup, paçoca ice cream and fruit minestrone.
The embroiderers from Rio Grande do Norte who made the wedding dress signed by Helô Rocha appear in a video wishing the couple good luck and thanking them for the opportunity to show their work.
The night continued with a show by the band of the singer from São Paulo based in Paraná, Rogeria Holtz. Janja went to the stage and sang “Luar do Sertão” looking into Lula’s eyes.
Artists were the majority on the dance floor to the sound of the DJ (female, by choice of Janja). From politics, who danced, besides Lula: former mayor Marta Suplicy, senator Jaques Wagner, former deputy and candidate for the Rio governorship Marcelo Freixo and federal deputy Alexandre Padilha (“Dança bem”, attested by a guest) .
The soundtrack was basically made up of Brazilian music, and the track was full even when the pagode “Cheia de Manias” (excerpt: “Cheia de manias / Toda dengosa / Menina Bonita / Sabe que é hot…”), by the group Raça Negra, in addition to hits by funk singer Anitta: “Show das Poderosas” and “Vai Malandra”.
Lula and Janja left the wedding at 12:15 am, and the party continued with the guests until 3:30 am.
