Elon Musk: See the eccentric names of children with singer Grimes

The billionaire South African businessman Elon Musk, 47, who met with President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) and businessmen this Friday (20), is a man of bold, controversial and eccentric ideas, especially in the choice of different names for their children with futuristic singer Grimes.

The billionaire’s last two children – father of eight with three different women, but one of them died at ten weeks – have eccentric names and are nicknamed by the letters X and Y. The American billionaire’s eighth heiress with singer Grimes was born in December through of a surrogate and given the name Exa Dark Sideræl Musk, and the nickname Y.

Grimes told Vanity Fair in April that the name Exa refers to the supercomputing term exaFLOPS, or the ability to perform 1 quintillion floating-point operations per second. Dark, she said, represents ‘the unknown’. She also told the magazine that she always wanted to have ‘at least three or four’ children with Elon Musk, who said he was semi-separated from the singer due to busy careers.

Sideræl is pronounced “sigh-deer-ee-el” and is a “more elven” spelling of sidereal. “The real time of the universe, stellar time, deep space time, not our relative earth time.” The name also honors her favorite ‘Lord of the Rings’ character, Galadriel, who “chose to give up the ring”.

Musk’s first with Grimes was baptized as X Æ A-12 Musk, which generated great strangeness at the time of birth among internet users.

“X is the unknown variable [emoji de duas espadas cruzadas, formando um X]. Æ is the Elvish spelling of Ai (love and/or artificial intelligence). A-12 = precursor to the SR-17 (our favorite aircraft). No weapons, no defenses, just speed. Great in battle, but not violent. A = Archangel, my favorite song,” Grimes posted on Twitter.

According to the comments, the correct pronunciation of the name would be Sasha Archangel Musk.
