The new laboratory-confirmed cases of the disease (individuals) recorded in the last 24 hours were 2,235. The total number of people who became ill amounts to 3,422,233 (daily change + 0.1%), of which 48.8% are men.

The number of possible new re-infections recorded in the last 24 hours was 258 while since the beginning of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic the total number is estimated at 132,244 (3.7% of the total number of positive results).

The new deaths of patients with COVID-19 are 21, while since the beginning of the epidemic a total of 29,711 deaths have been recorded. 95.6% had underlying disease and / or age 70 years and older.

The number of patients treated by intubation is 151 (62.9% men). Their median age is 71 years. 92.7% have underlying disease and / or age 70 years and older. Among intubated patients, 73 (48.34%) are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated and 78 (51.66%) are fully vaccinated. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 4,666 patients have been discharged from the ICU.

The admissions of new COVID-19 patients in the hospitals of the territory are 84 (daily change + 15.07%). The average seven-day admission is 97 patients. The median age of cases is 36 years (range 0.2 to 112 years), while the median age of death is 80 years (range 0.2 to 106 years)
