Answer Side for the supply of vaccines: It is not a new receipt, but a transfer of the previous one

by

The posts that refer to supply of vaccines for Covid-19 commented o Minister of Health Thanos Plevris.

He states in more detail in his statement:

“The supply of all vaccines against COVID-19 was based on central agreements of the European Commission with the companies. In May 2021, the EU has signed a third contract with the pharmaceutical companies BioNTech and Pfizer for the supply of all EU Member States from the end of 2021 to 2023. This agreement stipulates the total amount of vaccines that each country will receive in proportion to its population. Since then, this contract has been amended as to the schedule for receiving the already agreed quantities of vaccines. Based on the latest epidemiological data and prevailing mutations, the contract between the EU and Pfizer has been amended for all Member States to allow Member States to reschedule upcoming vaccine deliveries from September onwards, not in the summer, so that all Member States and Greece to receive the latest generation vaccine that more fully covers all mutations including Omicron mutations.

So it is not a new supply but a transfer of the vaccine from the second to the third trimester and finally from September onwards.

The official opposition with false reports once again maintains the vaccination and takes a stand against the EU’s joint agreement with the companies. Let us finally decide whether we participated correctly in the Europe agreement on the supply of vaccines or not. Are we right to ensure adequacy of vaccines for 2022 like all EU countries or not? Are we right to transfer the receipt from the second to the third quarter like all EU countries or did we have to proceed with the receipt now?

We expect from the health sector of SYRIZA and the party of the official opposition to take a clear position and to stop supporting theories of anti-vaccination conspiracy theories “.
