The same rules that have been set for those over 60 for the second booster dose apply to those over 30, according to information from the Ministry of Health, in view of the opening of the appointment platform for the 4th vaccine dose on Monday 27 June.

That is, one can take the second booster dose after 4 months after the first booster dose.

It is clarified that if one has taken the first booster dose and has become ill afterwards, one cannot take a second booster dose.

It is noted that the experts took this decision after the re-outbreak of coronavirus cases, about three weeks after the abolition of the mandatory use of masks indoors. It is reminded that until today the fourth dose of vaccine concerns all citizens over the age of 60. The relevant platform has been open since last April while the immunosuppressed had preceded. Data on the vaccination coverage of the citizens show that only 15% of the citizens over 60 years of age have been vaccinated with the fourth dose.
