Professor Gikas Majorkinis made a relevant post about the epidemiology of the summer outbreak of COVID-19.
For the epidemiology of its summer outbreak COVID-19 The professor made a relevant post Gikas Majorkinisin which he states that tomorrow we are likely to see over 20,000 cases.
The post:
The median increase in the number of COVID-19 diagnoses has been around 60% in the last week. This means that tomorrow Tuesday we logically expect to see just over 20,000 diagnoses.
The increase in inpatient beds remained at 44%.
The number of intubated patients remained relatively stable with a slight increase of 3%. At present we have not seen significant pressure on ICUs although the increase in diagnoses is present for at least 2 weeks. The kinetics and dynamics in the pipelines within this week will be the most important prognostic indicator.
The basic forecast scenario for the summer outbreak remains at its peak until July 10, when it will be at the level of 20,000 diagnoses (7-day average).
