The report with the number of cases, the dead, the intubated and the epidemiological data of the last 24 hours was made public by EODY.
13,306 news were announced outbreaks coronavirus, 28 deaths from complications of the disease and 103 intubated patients.
THE total number of people who fell ill amounts to 3,843,142 (daily change +0.3%), of which 48.5% are men.
The number of potential new reinfections recorded in the last 24 hours were 2,743 while since the beginning of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic the total number is estimated at 205,642 (5.1% of the total number of positive results).
The new deaths of patients with COVID-19 are 28, while a total of 30,476 deaths have been recorded since the start of the epidemic. 95.7% had underlying diseases and/or age 70 years or older.
The number of intubated patients is 103 (66.0% men). Their median age is 73 years. 91.3% have underlying diseases and/or age 70 years or older. Among the intubated patients, 37 (35.92%) are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated and 66 (64.08%) are fully vaccinated. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 4,742 patients have been discharged from ICUs. Admissions of new COVID-19 patients to the territory’s hospitals are 337 (daily change -7.67%). The average seven-day admissions is 321 patients. The median age of the cases is 37 years (range 0.2 to 112 years), while the median age of the deceased is 80 years (range 0.2 to 106 years).
Of the total of 16,049 new cases of the new virus in the country, 1 is imported.
Samples tested: From January 1, 2020 until today, in the laboratories that carry out tests for the new coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) and that systematically declare all the samples they test, a total of 11,779,662 clinical samples have been tested, while from Health Units and Levels of EODY that they conduct
Rapid Ag tests 74,854,864 samples have been tested. The seven-day average is 130,532 sample checks.
EODY Mass Sampling: On July 09, 2022, 31 sample control actions were carried out by the Mobile Health Teams (COMY) of EODY, in which 5,981 Rapid Ag tests were carried out and 1,199 were found positive (20.05%).
Geographical distribution: The map shows the geographical distribution of the COVID-19 cases of the last 14 days per Regional Unit of the country, based on the declared address of permanent residence of the patient, or the address of temporary residence for tourists and other temporary residents in Greece.
