The JMC was published in the Official Gazette with the new measures for the protection of public health from the risk of further spread of the coronavirus COVID-19 throughout the Territory for the period from Monday, December 13, 2021 to Monday, December 20, 2021 at 06:00 which changes the validity of the disease certificate which will now last for 90 days and not for 6 months. If the certificate has expired then all the restrictions that apply to the unvaccinated apply.
Article 9 of the decision states in detail:
“The disease certificate is issued only after laboratory testing by PCR method for coronavirus COVID-19, within thirty (30) days after the first positive test and its validity lasts up to ninety (90) days after it, subject to two subsequent paragraphs.
Specifically, disease certificates issued from 13.6.2021 to 31.10.2021 either after laboratory testing by PCR or after testing using rapid coronavirus antigen detection COVID-19 (rapid test) remain valid in accordance with applicable until the publication of this.
The validity of the disease certificates issued from 1.11.2021 to 4.12.2021 either after laboratory testing by PCR method or after testing using rapid coronavirus antigen detection COVID-19 (rapid test) lasts ninety (90) days.
The first positive test is performed by a) a public authority in accordance with the relevant legislation or b) reference laboratories in public or private and includes the name of the person, as indicated on the identity card or passport.
If a repeat laboratory test is performed by the PCR method after ninety (90) days plus one (1) day and is positive, no disease certificate is issued, however, in compliance with the required public health protection measures.
The above certificates are displayed or printed by the digital platform www.gov. gr or electronically through the mobile device of the individual, which the competent employee, owner or legal representative of the respective company, the employer or the respective authorized person scans electronically through the special application of article 33 of law 4816/2021 Covid Free GR with simultaneous verification of the identity of the holder.
Alternatively, if the above certificates are presented by a foreigner from a third country (outside the European Union), the persons referred to in the preceding subparagraph shall verify these certificates in paper form with a simultaneous verification of the identity of the holder “.
Where entry is valid upon presentation of the three-month sickness certificate
The quarterly validity certificate can be used by those who have not been vaccinated for all activities where it is displayed and accepted, ie in shops, restaurants, and generally in all enclosed spaces.

Two New Categories of Activities and the measures for them Ski centers from 11.12.2021
- Operation from 11.12.2021 in compliance with the measures of table A and in addition with the following rules:
- The canteens operate in accordance with sanitary conditions in the open air and indoors of point 16 (catering).
- the retail stores operate in accordance with the sanitary conditions of point 24 (retail). The equipment rental shops of the ski schools operate in accordance with the sanitary conditions of point 24 (retail) and with the additional obligation to disinfect clothing, ski mask and ski helmet before each new use (rental).
- The hostels / hotels operate in accordance with the sanitary conditions of point 38 (tourist businesses of par. 1 of article 1 of law 4276/2014).
The following rules apply to lifts:

Guests are required to enter upon entry:
[α] vaccination certificate, in accordance with paragraph 2 of Article 9, or
[β] disease certificate, according to par. 3 of article 9.
Minors from four (4) to seventeen (17) years of age submit a statement of negative self-test (self-test), in accordance with paragraphs 3 and 4 of article 9.
- Maximum number of simultaneous presence of visitors of all ages: one (1) person per 5 sq.m.
- Definition of different entry and exit points, as well as fencing of the park area, so that the entrance and exit are made only from the designated points.
- One-way flow of visitors and continuous monitoring of their flow by the company’s staff.
- Mandatory use of mask in all areas (indoor and outdoor), complying with the specifications of point 1 of table A.
- Free distribution of masks to all guests and availability of antiseptics at all points of interest and play.
- Constant reminder of the observance of the protection / hygiene measures by the microphone installations of the company.
