Mônica Bergamo: NGO Turma do Bem launches Dentista Salva-Vidas project

On the 21st, the NGO Turma do Bem, which provides free dental care to children and women who have been victims of violence, launches its new project, Dentists Salva-Vidas, in an event broadcast by the entity’s YouTube channel. The NGO brought together touching stories of life-saving care provided by several of its 14,000 volunteers and will award 22 of them at the event.

“It will be a kind of manifesto in defense of the dentist’s work. In 2019, President Bolsonaro vetoed the project that guaranteed dental care for hospitalized patients and then the pandemic came. Several dentists also acted in the front line in the fight against Covid, serving Covid people intubated, and the category did not even get priority in vaccination”, says Fábio Bibancos, founder of Turma do Bem.

The actor, writer and columnist for leaf Gregorio Duvivier autographed his new book, “Sonetos de Amor e Sacanagem” (published by Companhia das Letras), on Sunday (12), at Megafauna bookshop, in SP. His wife, fashion consultant Giovanna Nader, participated in the event. The former Flip curator and partner at Megafauna bookstore and publisher Fósforo Fernanda Diamant was also there.

The exhibition “Tunga: Conjunções Magnéticas”, by Itaú Cultural, in São Paulo, opened for guests on Friday (11). The show features 300 works produced by Tunga: sculptures, objects, installations, videos, performances, artist’s notebooks, etc.
