With Covid-19 cases and deaths dropping in the country thanks to the advance of vaccination, many families are preparing to spend Christmas together — a different scenario from last year, when immunization had not yet started and the recommendation was for meetings restricted to the family nucleus.
As much as organizations and governments establish guidelines, care is individual. Taking this into account, this Monday’s Breakfast (20) asks five health experts: what will your Christmas be like?
Participating in the episode are epidemiologist Carla Domingues, former coordinator of the National Immunization Program; physician Daniel Dourado, a public health lawyer and researcher at USP and the University of Paris; infectologist Esper Kallás, professor at the Faculty of Medicine of USP and columnist for leaf; Dr. Rosana Richtmann, an infectious disease specialist at Instituto Emílio Ribas; and Vitor Mori, PhD in biomedical engineering and member of the Covid-19 Brazil Observatory.
The audio program is published on Spotify, a partner streaming service for leaf in the initiative and which specializes in music, podcast and video. You can listen to the episode by clicking below. To access the app, simply register for free.
