Deputy Minister of Health Mina Gaga was found at the Penteli General Children’s Hospital – where a mega vaccination center for children is expected to operate – on Monday afternoon.
Ms. Gaga had the opportunity to speak with representatives of all departments about the upgrade plan of the Hospital.
Afterwards, he participated in a relevant meeting attended by the Deputy Minister in charge of Mental Health, Zoe Rapti, the Mayor of Penteli Dimitra Kehagia, the Commander of Sismanoglio Hospital Elias Dalainas, the Deputy Director and Deputy Constantina Mamoura.
It is the first time since the beginning of the vaccination program that a mega vaccination center is installed in a nursing facility and operates in parallel with it.
According to the design, and aiming at the fastest possible vaccination of children 5 – 11 years old, the vaccination center will have more than 10 vaccination lines.
The hospital will continue to be fully operational, accepting regular cases, for hospitalizations, surgeries and regular surgeries. The care of young patients will continue unhindered in all departments of the hospital, while all emergencies that reach the Hospital will be served.
The building facilities of Pentelis Children are offered for the parallel operation of nursing and vaccination activities, while they also have a parking space for the best service of parents and children.
