The implementation of free CoviD-19 rapid tests in selected areas of the Municipalities, by the mixed teams of doctors and nurses of the Attica Region and the Medical Association of Athens, continues at a steady pace. As part of the joint action, they were held in the Municipality of Ag. Friday, at the Regional Clinic and at the Western and Central Sector Clinics almost 300 tests, of which 6 were positive.
In his statements on the action, the governor of Attica, G. Patoulis, expressed the will of the Region to make the citizen of each neighborhood feel safe, noting: “We join forces and move forward in better coordination to achieve our goals.”
The Deputy Regional Minister of Public Health and Social Welfare, G. Kechris, finds that in this phase of the pandemic, the mass control is the most reliable tool for locating, tracking and isolating positive cases, pointing out that and substance interventions, actively contributing to the safeguarding of public health and to the decompression of the National Health System “.
