Pulmonary Society & KEDE give “Breath of Life” for the World Cancer Day

The Central Union of Greek Municipalities supported the social initiative of the Hellenic Pulmonary Society with symbolic lighting of municipal buildings
The Hellenic Pulmonary Society, in the framework of the social initiative “Breath of Life” for the prevention of lung cancer, illuminated emblematic municipal buildings and monuments throughout Greece, including Omonia Square, in collaboration with the Central Union of Greek Municipalities. as a sign of support for raising public awareness of lung health on World Cancer Day.

“Breath of Life” is a social initiative of the Hellenic Pulmonary Society, which continues for the 2nd year, with the support of Johnson & Johnson.

Its main mission is to raise public awareness and cultivate a culture of prevention for lung health. Having developed into a “social alliance”, important actors support the actions that will be implemented throughout the year.

The President of the Hellenic Pulmonary Society, Mr. Stelios Loukidis, said: “We warmly thank KEDE who responded immediately to our call, actively participating in our effort and embracing the social initiative” Breath of Life “.
