The visit of Hellenic Healthcare Group doctors to Vonitsa for free examinations on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 December 2024, as part of the “Everywhere” Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the HHG Group, had a great response.

In total, approximately 340 tests were performed on the local population, which involved cardiology, orthopedic, mammology and vascular control with triplex vessels, at the Health Center of Vonitsa.

The medical team consisted of Mr. Evangelos Nikolopoulos Vascular Surgeon and Vasilios Trigas Breast Surgeon from Metropolitan Hospital, Dionysia Zoukis, Oncologist from Hygeia Hospital, Konstantinos Maniatis Orthopedic Surgeon from Mitera and Mr. Kostas Kontos Cardiologist from Metropolitan General.

HHG Group’s “Everywhere” Program

For more than 10 years, Hellenic Healthcare Group clinics have been implementing the “Traveling for Health” programs of Hygeia Hospital and “Prevention” of Metropolitan Hospital and Metropolitan General, practical medical assistance campaigns that included clinical and diagnostic tests in the local community.

In the spring of 2024, with the aim of further upgrading the medical services provided, the HHG hospitals joined forces and merged these two programs, creating the program “Everywhere, for health and people» which includes an organized plan of annual actions.

To date, 30 volunteer campaigns have been carried out, more than 13,607 residents have been examined and more than 48,779 medical and diagnostic tests have been carried out in the following areas: Lipsi-Agathonissi, Achillio-Agioi Theodoroi, Nafpaktos, Lechina-Varda, Papades-Agia Anna Evia, Gravia-Delphi, Rovies-Mantoudi of Evia, Dimitsana of Arcadia, Hypati-Pavliani, Konitsa, Tzia, Agios Dimitrios-Pothi of Evia, Stymphalia-Feneos of Mount Corinth, Stropones-Metohi of Evia, Skyros, Karpenisi, Karpathos, Kalavrita, Kalambaka, Leros, Tilos, Nisyros, Argos Orestiko, Symi, Argithea Agrafon, Kasos, Astypalaia, Sifnos and Vonitsa. At the same time, the HHG Group supports Health Centers and Clinics with medical equipment, as well as pharmaceutical and sanitary materials.

The goal of the “Everywhere” program is to reach every corner of Greece, covering an even wider range of areas and providing the possibility of examination to as many of our fellow citizens as possible.
