The annex to AO of Eastern and Southern Europe (AO Tesa Mid) which includes 22 countries and AO Trauma Greece (AO Trauma Greece) are organizing the 4 annual magazines for the treatment of complex musculoskeletal trauma, from May 8 to 11, 2025, in Larissa, at the Anatomy Department of Medicine’s Department of Medicine.
The head of the event is Mr. Theodore TounidisHead of AO Greece, Associate Professor of Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology of the University of Crete and the overall venture was coordinated in excellent cooperation with Mr. Aristide ZibiProfessor and Director of the Anatomy Laboratory and Deputy President of the Department of Medicine of the University of Thessaly, Orthopedic Surgeon. It is the second consecutive and the third overall time that such an important and important educational event takes place in Greece. In the year 2024 the corresponding event was successfully held at the premises of the Anatomy Laboratory of the Medical School of the University of Thessaly.
To Total event is attended by 100 orthopedic specialists From Greece and another 25 countries. Characteristically we mention that there are orthopedists from Singapore, Australia, Qatar, New Zealand, Peru, Israel, Palestine, Kuwait as well as from most European countries (Spain, Netherlands, Bulgaria, Romania, Slovenia, Slovenia, Slovenia Herzegovina, Turkey, Northern Macedonia). Thirty -two (32) trainers from all over Europe (Lithuania, Czech Republic, Turkey, Belarus, Slovenia, Israel, Romania, Latvia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Turkey, Poland, Croatia, Slovakia) and Greece will offer their knowledge and experience.
The Larissa Anatomy Laboratory was chosen as a site of the event by the TESA MID AE Educational Committee as it meets all the criteria of a contemporary and good educational institution suitable for the specialized training of orthopedic surgeons in modern muscles.
