The new Digital Citizen Appointment System for Primary Care designed by the Ministries of Digital Governance and Health is available to citizens from Wednesday.
This is the platform finddoctors.gov.gr implemented by the Electronic Government of Social Security (IDIKA SA).
Through the platform, every citizen can make an appointment in a public structure or with a private doctor certified in the “Electronic Prescribing System”. The digital environment is very friendly, and only the use of Taxisnet codes is required as well as the confirmation of the AMKA. The citizen will choose a geographical area and then his preference for an appointment in a public structure or a private doctor. Through pre-filled fields and dynamic lists of options, with minimal search criteria and only four “clicks”, he will be able to make an appointment with a doctor at a day and time of his choice. He will receive Confirmation SMSwhile it will be possible to change or cancel the appointment until the previous day.
