We all have those highly organized people in our lives.

Who knows where everything is? The ones with color-coded calendars are planned with military precision. Someone who doesn’t even remember losing their key or bank card at the end.

And we are the rest.

Missing, forgotten, prone to losing items, double booking, leaving lunch in the fridge, and a gym trainer at home.

Disorganized people were stressed. Not only can this frustrate the people in your life who have to pick up the pieces, but it can also cause you to lose control, become overwhelmed, and always feel like you’re standing on your hind legs.

Many things start in your home. We’ve all heard the mantra of a tidy room, tidy mind, but we’ve found that organizing your living space has a huge impact on your state of mind.

A recent survey of more than 1,100 people found that nearly 60% noted a decline in mental health in a disorganized spatial environment. Around 70% thought their happiness was negatively affected.

The research also found that confused people lose their keys twice as often and have a harder time working on time than highly organized people.

Researchers at Princeton University’s Neuroscience Institute have shown that the constant effects of decommissioning reduce our cognitive abilities. They also showed that it significantly impaired the brain’s concentration. As a result, 65% of respondents noted decreased productivity in meetings with disorganized spaces.

The ability to carry out day-to-day tasks was also highly influenced by the level of human organization.

Even the simplest tasks, like choosing clothes, were much more difficult for those who felt that they were not organized at all. This group would likely be late for work and would often lose important items such as passports and keys.

But just being “more organized” isn’t as simple as you might think.

Research shows that it takes a long time to stay organized. Highly organized respondents were twice as likely to spend hours- every day – Organize actively.

For many, this is an outright and unrealistic prospect. So how can you lead a more organized and focused life without spending extra time?

How to feel more organized in your life

1. Invest in your organization’s products

Studies show that people spend an average of £200 organizing their products. Investing in these products will definitely reduce space congestion.

Bins are considered the most successful arrangement (70%), followed by shoe racks (45%) and drawer organizers (44%).

There are several places you should look to for inspiration to organize these products to fit perfectly in your space. Studies show that people use Pinterest or YouTube more often for inspiration.

2. Clean while you organize

Studies have said that people have found hair, dead flies, unidentified fluids, rotten food, and even mold in disorganized areas.

Cleaning and contaminating in an organized way can help avoid this confusion and help you clean up quickly before it gets dirty.

3. Clean regularly

Almost 70% of people report that happiness is affected by dirty spaces, while 58% say that it affects their mental health. That is why it is important that we continue to lead the organization.

To do this, researchers have found that regular decluttering is the most successful way to keep things organized. The most effective method is to spend a few hours a week on the fabric for more productive cleaning, especially during the day.
