Welcome to the 15 million Moneypenny headquarters in Lexham. This is an office that is ashamed of all of us.
It has a log home, a nature trail, a pub called Dog’n’Bone, and beer, real ale, and house wine at the end of the workday.
It is located on a 10-acre site in the outskirts of Wales. In other words, it is very beautiful when viewed from the inside out, and you can enjoy a wonderful view from every table.
The office meeting room is located in a wooden house 20 feet away from the living room.
Life-size models of giraffes and sheep act as artificial managers, and staff have access to the gym.
There is a games room with foosball and a pool table, as well as a chill area with beanbags and chairs.
New hires receive a “budget desk” to personalize their workspace, and employees get a chance to chat and have fun.
And before the office closed, the manager arranged for each worker to receive turkey or nuts for Christmas.
The speaker states: “There are many little details that make the office environment special.
“There is no hot desk. We encourage you to personalize your desk. Each desk is acoustically designed so you can’t hear others answering the phone.
“Eating at the table is not prohibited, but people are encouraged to socialize and eat together.
That’s why the food place is so beautiful. The building also has a small corner with chairs, where people can spend their time quietly reading lunch.
“Obviously we had to close the office during the pandemic, but the vast majority of people are still in the office. People really wanted to come back.”
The telephone answering service currently employs about 900 people, but the company currently aims to hire an additional 70 people.
Joanna Suosh, CEO of the group, said:
“When we decided to build a new headquarters, we asked ourselves how we could be sure that our people would be happy there.
The answer was simple: ask them. We didn’t want to create a great workplace based on someone else’s great vision. We wanted it to be in a place where our people loved it. “
