It’s the 4th of July, also known as Independence Day. If you want to get into the spirit of things, is there a better way than to make an American favorite in the kitchen?

You might want to whip up a classic hot dog or burger at a barbecue today, but if you want to push a boat out, you’ve got what you like.

Grilled Buffalo Hot Wings have always been a crowd pleaser, and the team at Thermopen came up with a recipe you just had to try.

If you’re cooking with chicken, a thermometer is a great tool to ease the stress of cooking.

According to Thermapen, the chicken cooks at 74°C, but the area around the bones may look a bit pink. Also, it can be eaten soft even if eaten at 81-90°C.

There are four recipes below, perfect for the 4th of July and the rest of the grilling season.

Make sure to cover it (Image: Thermopan)

1. Start by dividing the wings into thighs and flats. A floor is a piece with two bones.

2. Use a sharp knife to cut the wing at the wing junction. Cut through the meat to expose the joint, then carefully slice through it with the back of a knife.

3. Save the tip for stock and source. There is not much meat, so there is no point in frying it.

4. Rub the prepared wings on the barbecue and leave them for at least 30 minutes. This allows the bidders to penetrate the meat. Salt Salt helps dry out the skin and helps you achieve the crispy skin of your dreams.

5. Have a barbecue while the wings rub and rest.

6. When the grill is hot, start at the round edges and place the wings on the grill. This is a fairly quick cook, so don’t overdo it. So wait patiently.

7. After a few minutes, turn the wings over. If you keep turning it, the skin won’t get crispy, so don’t turn it too much.

8. When the chicken is crisp, take the thermometer and start checking the temperature. Some wings cook faster than others, so when you’re ready, remove the finished wings and see as many wings as you can.

9. When all the wings are cooked and the skin is very crisp, put them in a buffalo sauce.

10. To make a blue cheese sauce, mix all the ingredients together.

11. Serve with celery sticks and blue cheese sauce.
