A “cool” trick shows how to apply a fake tan on your back if you live alone

However, TikTokers does share a trick that helps you get streak-free coverage when you’re solo, and it doesn’t cost a dime.

Sophie Anne Smith, who lives alone, recently posted a video detailing the details.

Sophie took one corner with her usual tanning mitt and held the other instead of lifting it.

She often uses a tanning mousse and glides the product down her back with both hands for an even, sun-protective finish.

“Heard about Lifehack from TT,” Sophie added with a caption on the video, “Solo Dolo Life Benefits.”

More than 32,000 people liked the explanation, with one writing “Thank you.”

“Damn I was in pretzel mode to get it back,” another joked, while one convert said, “I’ve been doing this for five years and no one works. I don’t think so!”

The secret to hacking seems to be to use a mat made of non-slip material instead of plain metal or wood. Velvet or silicone straps keep gloves in place for precise application.

Alternatively, you can look for one of the specially formulated tanning solutions on the market, but the alternative is naturally cheaper.
