(News Bulletin 247) – The group announced net income of 4.34 billion euros in 2022 (+11.7%), driven by a good performance internationally (especially in the United States and Brazil) .

Iberdrola made record investments of 10.73 billion euros over the year (+13%), of which 90% was allocated to networks and renewable energies.

EBITDA increased by 10% to €13.23 billion, driven by geographic diversification, with the EU contributing 39%, the US 20%, the UK 15% and Latin America by 25%.

Operating cash flow reached 11.12 billion euros, up 25%. Management is targeting 8-10% net profit growth in 2023.

Thanks to the investments already made, the group closed the year 2022 with an installed renewable capacity of around 40,000 MW worldwide. The company also has 7,675 MW under construction which will be operational over the next four years. Of these, nearly 3,500 MW correspond to offshore wind projects in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany and France.
