(News Bulletin 247) – Boostheat, an energy efficiency specialist currently in the recovery phase, announced Thursday that it would try to revive itself with the launch of software dedicated to the Internet of Things (IoT).
This is a so-called ‘IoT Edge’ solution, which allows processing data where it is collected or used, rather than analyzing it through the ‘cloud’.
This approach is an effective way to quickly analyze real-time data to give machines more autonomy, for example.
In a press release, Boostheat explains that it has spent the last five years investing in software solutions (IoT) to support its R&D team in improving the energy efficiency of its heat pumps.
This new offering should enable industrial/machine manufacturers to create digital twins and analytics optimized with more advanced and efficient AI that can be used to improve efficiency, productivity and operational performance.
This solution will first be proposed as part of a first phase of tests before its deployment, in a second phase, on the basis of a commercial model which will be defined later.
Listed on the Paris Stock Exchange, the Boostheat share was in balance Thursday noon after starting the session on a high (+20%).
