(News Bulletin 247) – FO, the first trade union organization within the Stellantis group, welcomed Thursday the return of hiring at the Poissy factory (Yvelines), more than ten years after the last job creations on the site. .

After the arrival of 14 new employees on permanent contracts, Force Ouvrière expects other recruitments to follow in the coming weeks in order to meet the industrial ambitions of the car manufacturer.

The union – which says it has been mobilized for years to obtain the allocation of new vehicles – evokes a “historic” decision, but which, according to him, responds to an industrial dynamic.

‘Quality of production, low accident rate and absenteeism, strategic geographical location and peaceful social climate make Poissy a site of the future within the Stellantis group and a driving force for the regional ecosystem.

For Brahim Aït-Athmane, FO delegate, majority union on the Poissy site, the industrial site has the confidence of the group’s management, which again opens the way to recruitment.

“This is good news for Poissy, for Stellantis and for the entire automotive industry which, despite regulatory and legislative constraints, continues to show day after day that it remains a national flagship,” he said.
