(News Bulletin 247) – Fnac Darty publishes first-quarter 2023 revenue of €1,781 million, stable on a reported and like-for-like basis compared to the first quarter of 2022.
The group highlights the good resistance of sales in a difficult environment. “This good performance reflects the adaptation of the Group’s offer to a wide range of products and services, from household appliances to editorial and leisure products,” he says.
In addition, Fnac Darty announces that it has entered into an agreement with MediaMarkt, a subsidiary of Ceconomy, with a view to acquiring 100% of its activities in Portugal.
MediaMarkt Portugal is an electronics retailer that operates 10 stores as well as an online store, and employs around 450 people across the country for a turnover of 140 ME in 2021/22.
In this context, Fnac Darty confirms its objectives and aims for 2023 Current Operating Income (ROC) of around €200 million, cumulative free operating cash flow of around €500 million over the 2021-2024 period, and free cash flow operational of at least 240 ME on an annual basis from 2025.
