(News Bulletin 247) – The group announces revenue growth of 43.0%, to 1,311.3 million euros for the quarter ended March 31, 2023.
The number of passengers boarded in Air IT Solutions increased by 55.1% to reach 409.5 million.
The group achieved revenue from Air Distribution of 678.9 million euros, up 52.2%. That of Air IT Solutions increased by 35.7%, to 424.9 million euros at March 31, 2023. The turnover of the Hospitality & Other Solutions activity increased by 31.3%, to 207 .5 million euros.
Amadeus recorded an EBITDA up 72.3% to 509.8 million euros in the first quarter. Adjusted profit increased by 187.6% to 273.1 million euros. Net financial debt amounted to €2,026.0 million at March 31, 2023 (1.1 times EBITDA for the last twelve months).
Luis Maroto, Chairman and CEO of Amadeus, said: ‘Amadeus started the year strong, with strong operational and financial performance across all of our segments. Air traffic has improved globally, both domestically and internationally, although at different rates. Asia-Pacific traffic has recovered particularly well, with Amadeus bookings up more than 150% and passengers boarded over 120% in the first quarter compared to the same period last year’.
