(News Bulletin 247) – BAT announces that the new results of one of the largest studies ever carried out on vapor products, – and in particular Vuse, a flagship brand of BAT, have been published in the journal Internal and Emergency Medicine.

According to BAT, study results show that participating Vuse consumers had favorable differences in biomarkers of exposure (BoE) and biomarkers of potential harm (BoPH) relevant to smoking-related disease compared to smokers.

The data also showed favorable differences between Vuse users and smokers for all of the potential harm biomarkers measured, with three being statistically significant.

‘Vaping continues to grow in importance as adult smokers seek out alternative, reduced-risk nicotine products. That’s why these results are so important to Vuse, BAT and consumers, as they allow us to better understand the true positive impact of vaping versus smoking,” says Dr. James Murphy, Director of Research and science at BAT.
