(News Bulletin 247) – Immersive Labs and Accenture announce they are working on the launch of the Cyber Million program which aims to solve the cybersecurity talent gap by increasing access to one million entry-level jobs in cybersecurity operations in the course of the next decade.
The beta version of the program, launching today, will be powered by the Immersive Labs platform, with Accenture Security as the first founding partner.
The program is now available to other organizations that want to offer cybersecurity roles to a wide range of candidates, and users can access the platform to start developing their skills.
The cybersecurity industry is currently facing a huge talent shortage, with an estimated 3.4 million unfilled positions globally.
The Cyber Million wants to fill these vacancies, lowering barriers to entry for job seekers, improving access to opportunities and uncovering hidden talent.
“Cybersecurity talent is everywhere, and it can be developed if people who want to learn have the opportunity, whether they come from a technical background or not,” said Robert Boyce, global head of cybersecurity. cyber-resilience, Accenture.
