A year-long plan is now ready to be implemented in the Municipality of Glyfada. A large pedestrian bridge that will connect the city with its beach, so residents will not have to cross Poseidonos Avenue vertically. As announced by the Municipal Authority, the project was included for financing in the Recovery Fund and also provides for the creation of a large underground parking lot.

“Procedures begin immediately. With resources from the Recovery Fund in the amount of 14 million euros, for the functional upgrade of the shopping center of the Municipality of Glyfada and the construction of an underground parking area and an interface with the beach front, as written in the relevant gazette”, stated the mayor Giorgos Papanikolaou among others and added:
“A big thank you to everyone who contributed to secure this great funding. Our life in Glyfada continues to change with projects.”
