The News Bulletin 247 team with TradingSat offers a thematic investment, on a “low carbon” tracker-type vehicle (ETF). The proposed product replicates a Low Carbon 100 Europe® PAB index, administered by Euronext, aligned with the objectives of the Paris Climate Agreement. It reflects, upwards and downwards, the performance of 100 European companies selected according to a “best-in-class” approach consisting in retaining the best performers within each sector of activity in terms of CO2 emissions. Among these, 10 to 15 stocks are specially chosen for their positive contribution to the energy transition, not only through their carbon performance, but also through the positive impact of their products or services on the climate. The issuer, BNP AM, was a pioneer on the theme by marketing the product in 2008.

KEY GRAPHIC ELEMENTS

The proposed tracker (ETF) evolves within a bullish channel, which materializes, by its low and high limits, respectively parallel support and resistance, a basic upward trend. Corridor at the heart of which a rectilinear 50-day moving average (in orange) calmly gravitates. The RSI has not been in the “overbought” zone for many months.

We have represented in black on the graph below the identified technical corridor.

FORECAST

In view of the graphic elements mentioned, the News Bulletin 247 team suggests that active investors take a buying position on the EASYETF LOWCARBON tracker, at the current price, with €270,0000 in their sights. A protective stop should be placed at €215,0000.
