Bar O Pasquim, traditional in Vila Madalena, will have a new unit in Mooca

About to complete nine years of operation on Rua Aspicuelta, in Vila Madalena, O Pasquim Bar e Prosa is planning another new unit. After opening branches in the Municipal Market, in the center, and on Avenida Braz Leme, in the north zone, in September the chain will reach Mooca, in the east zone.

Already under construction, the new unit will occupy the mansion that for years was the Road Burger, at number 204, Rua Ibipetuba, close to Avenida Paes de Barros. At the new address, an outdoor grill will make meat the star of the menu, which will also bring new snacks, side dishes and drinks —which are already arriving at the other units of the chain.

The novelties were developed by chef Thiago Sodré, who recently took over the executive leadership of the Turn the Table group, a gastronomic holding company that, in addition to O Pasquim, controls Vero! Cocktail Shop and Kitchen, in Pinheiros, and the restaurant A Saideira, at Galeão Airport, in Rio de Janeiro.

The idea of ​​taking O Pasquim to Mooca came after the inauguration of the Casa Verde branch, in 2022, when the chain realized that many São Paulo residents prefer to have fun in their own neighborhood, without having to move around the city.

“In some places in the city, the connection between residents and the surroundings is so strong that this dynamic is created within the neighborhood itself. Mooca is perhaps the most iconic of them, so having a Pasquim there makes perfect sense”, explains Humberto Munhoz, partner at Turn the Table Brasil, the gastronomic holding company that controls O Pasquim.
