(News Bulletin 247) – Rubis Photosol is solidifying its European deployment by making its first investment in Italy, through the acquisition of a portfolio of 10 photovoltaic and agrivoltaic projects in the Italian region of Lazio, representing a total of around 100 MWp.

The signed agreement is a firm commitment from Photosol to acquire 10 identified projects over the next 12 to 18 months once they reach the RTB stage.

The first two projects to have reached the RTB stage were acquired by Rubis Photosol on June 28, 2023. They represent a total power of 25 MWp.

All of the projects in the portfolio will be commissioned in 2025 and 2026.

The investments for the realization of this portfolio are estimated at a maximum of 100 million euros (including land acquisition).
Taken together, these 10 projects will generate approximately 150 GWh of green electricity annually.

‘This is Rubis Photosol’s first acquisition abroad, marking our desire to position ourselves as a major developer and IPP in Europe with the support of the Rubis group’ declared David Guinard, co-founder and Director General of Rubis Photosol.
