(News Bulletin 247) – Nokia has announced that it has entered into a partnership with NTT to make private wireless network solutions available to more than 3.2 million businesses in Thailand.
‘ Deployed in several corporate business parks across Thailand, Nokia 5G private wireless solutions will revolutionize applications in sectors vital to the country’s economy, including manufacturing, mining, healthcare and industry. ‘education’ indicates the group.
Private wireless networks are designed to connect devices in remote or harsh industrial environments, i.e. areas with poor Wi-Fi coverage.
Sutas Kongdumrongkiat, Chairman and CEO of NTT Thailand said, ‘This joint initiative will provide Thai industry with access to the most advanced 5G technologies and applications, enabling automation, robotics and digital transformation solutions that boost productivity and efficiency, and keep workers safe.
Ajay Sharma, Head of Thailand and Cambodia at Nokia, said: ‘Digital transformation is increasingly seen by industry as a means to achieve growth and sustainability goals. This agreement, which covers Nokia’s wireless, software and infrastructure, is designed to accelerate the implementation and adoption of Industry 4.0 applications and use cases in Thai enterprises’.
