NEW YORK (Reuters) – The New York Stock Exchange ended with a small increase on Monday, in a wait-and-see context before the Fed’s monetary policy decision scheduled for Wednesday and the publication of the results of “tech” heavyweights which could stop the upward momentum on Wall Street.

The Nasdaq Composite advanced 172.68 points (1.12%) to 15,628.044.
Microsoft will publish its quarterly reports on Tuesday and investors on average anticipate an increase of 15.8% in its turnover.
The results of Alphabet, Google’s parent company, will also be communicated. Those of Apple, Meta Platforms, Amazon.com, Exxon Mobil, Chevron, Qualcomm, Merck, Pfizer and Boeing will be known by the end of the week, fueling market caution.
