(BFM Stock Exchange) – The Bestbrokers.com site has established a classification of the most “googlés” titles in the world based on data from the Ahrefs marketing platform. NVIDIA and TESLA are clearly at the top of a classification which, without surprise, is dominated by American companies.

This can constitute an indicator of popularity with small carriers: the number of research on Google generates the action of a company.

In a study published on Monday, the Bestbrokers.com site wondered what titles aroused the interest of Internet users in the world. To answer this question, the media based on data from the Ahrefs marketing platform by examining monthly research via Google in 46 countries. Note that Bestbrokers retained the full name of the companies associated with the word “action” (or “stock” in English).

This de facto excludes research related to their “ticker” (their “reference code”). For example, “MSFT ‘” is Microsoft’s Ticker, for Amazon it’s “Amzn”, for LVMH we talk about “MC” (reference to Moët and Chandon) etc.

China, South Korea or Iran have been excluded from the field of study due to a lack of data.

Ultimately, the site drew up a “top eleven” based on the results found. It is not surprising, but this ranking is fully occupied by American companies.

Recall that the United States represents, according to UBS, 64.4% of global equity markets, in terms of market capitalization. The holding of actions is also more important among individuals. According to the Vernimmen letter, 40% to 50% of American households have shares in their wealth, a rate that falls at around 17% for Europeans.

Two actions are largely at the top of the “top”: Nvidia and Tesla, totaling 12 million and 7.6 million average monthly research in the world respectively.

The very represented tech

A veritable star of Wall Street in recent years, the title progressing of 1,300% over five years, Nvidia is mainly wanted in North America, with 5.7 million monthly research in the United States and 1.1 million in Canada. These are roughly the same orders of magnitude for Tesla, 4.5 million in the United States and 1 million in Canada.

Besides Tesla and Nvidia, the large technological groups trust the classification. “Unsurprisingly, it is the high growth values of the technology and AI sectors that arouse the most curiosity,” deduces Bestbrokers.com. Adobe, who has suffered in recent months of market worries about his ability to monetize her offers based on artificial intelligence (like Adobe Firefly) arrives in third place with 3.3 million research. AMD, competitor of Nvidia, points to fifth row (2.9 million research). Meta and Amazon are respectively sixth and eighth, with 2.8 and 2.7 million research.

The Palanter software group, which signed the highest increase in S&P 500 last year, with a 340%leap, is ninth with 2.6 million research. Super Micro Computer, a company specializing in AI servers, arrives in tenth place with 2.5 million monthly research while Apple, the world’s largest business in terms of market capitalization, closed the top 11 with 2.5 million average monthly research.

Some “same stocks” are quite logically well placed. As a reminder, this term refers to American actions which are prized small carriers in the United States. The expression was popularized during the pandemic, when these private investors have ganged up on stock market forums to invest in these actions and take back the open sellers.

Trump’s company in the top 10

The GameStop video game distribution group, the most famous of these “Same Stocks”, points to fourth row, with 4 million research per month.

Trump Media & Technonlogy, Donald Trump’s company which oversees its social network “social truth” and is sometimes considered a “same stock”, points to seventh row with 2.7 million research. This company displays fragile fundamentals. Last year his income dropped from 12% to $ 3.62 million for operational losses of $ 186 million and the action experienced very strong volatility. Some observers have estimated that Donald Trump supporters were able to buy the title as a support for the Republican.

Beyond this Top 11, Bestbrokers.com notes some particularity by country. The site notes that the Germans and the Austrians “seem particularly interested in the question of whether the Volkswagen actions are worth buying, since this question is among the 10 most frequent monthly requests, while Swedish Internet users wonder if they should buy Tesla shares, among others”.

In Japan, the listed company which is the subject of greater number of research remains the local car manufacturer in Nissan difficulty. But Nintendo and, more curiously, McDonald’s are also one of the actions on which Japanese Internet users are asking the most questions.
