(BFM Stock Exchange) – The CAC 40 is changing slightly up at mid -session of this Friday, August 8, continuing to monitor changes both on Ukraine and on customs duties.
The Paris Stock Exchange hesitates a bit, this Friday, August 8. The CAC 40 evolves in positive territory, however, timidly winning 0.27% at mid-session, at 7,729.99 points. Over the whole week, the index resumes approximately 2.5%for the time being.
The day before, the Parisian index had returned to nearly 1% supported by truce hopes in Ukraine, while the American president, Donald Trump, and his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, are supposed to meet in the coming days. This is, in all, what the Kremlin announced on Thursday.
The same day, the tenant of the White House said he was ready to meet the chief of the Russian executive.

Limited variations on values
Regarding customs duties, Financial Times reported on Thursday that the United States could now impose customs duties on certain gold ingots, which helped the precious metal prices reach a record at 3.534.10 dollars on the New York Stock Exchange, according to AFP.
On the side of the values, the variations remain very contained. The highest increase in CAC 40 is recorded by Crédit Agricole SA, which wins 2.1% while the highest drop is accused by Publicis (-0.9%).
Sanofi decreases by 0.46% despite an increase in advice to “overlap” on the part of JPMorgan. The action had taken more than 2% at the start of the session.
Airbus wins 0.5% while the group delivered 67 aircraft to its customers in July, a figure qualified as “reassuring” by Deutsche Bank.
In other markets, the euro lost 0.3% against the dollar at $ 1.1634. Oil is advancing a little. The October contract on the Brent de Mer du Nord advances 0.8% to 67.02 dollars while that of September on the WTI listed in New York takes 0.8% at 64.39 Dollars per barrel.
