Specifically, as reported by ELAS, the coordinated and immediate actions of police officers of the Crimes against Life and Personal Freedom Department of the Thessaloniki Security Directorate led to the location and arrest of a 41-year-old citizen against whom a case of kidnapping, kidnapping and kidnapping was filed. rape, violence against court officials, illegal use of firearms and possession of drugs.

In particular, at noon yesterday (24-05-2022) a complaint was made at the center of Immediate Action for the abduction and illegal detention of a 35-year-old woman by an unknown man.

Immediately, there was a mobilization of Thessaloniki Security police and in the context of an organized police operation that took place in the afternoon, yesterday it was located in the area of ​​Perea and the 35-year-old was released and the 41-year-old perpetrator was arrested.

The investigation revealed that on 23-05-2022, under the pretext of finding a place to live and work, the 35-year-old met the 41-year-old and together they went to a house in the area of ​​Agia Triada, Thessaloniki, where with the threat of a gun he forced her into sexual acts and issued, for a fee, to an unknown person.

During an investigation in the presence of a court official, which took place in the above house, a gas pistol (airsoft) “replica” with an attached magazine with nine plastic balls, a small amount of hemp and a pulverizer (grater) with hemp residues were found and confiscated.

The arrested person with the case file against him will be taken to the competent Prosecutor.
