Behind every happy pet hides an informed and responsible guardian. Wanting to contribute to this, the Urban Fauna of the Municipality of Athens a series begins seminars / workshops with the aim of informing and educating pet caregivers on issues related to their health and well-being.
The beginning will be with a day and a seminar in Saturday 28 & Sunday 29 Mayin the amphitheater of the 7th Municipal Community of our Municipality, 59 Panormou in Ampelokipi (5 minutes walk from the Panormos Metro Station) which are organized in collaboration with Zero Stray Pawject.

For all the activities, workshops and seminars organized or participated by the Urban Fauna of the Municipality of Athens, you will be informed by the show “Like a dog with a cat”, every Saturday at 10:00 on the radio station of our city, Athens 984 .
Saturday 28/5 – Conference with 2 presentations (10: 00-16: 00):
1. “Law 4830/2021 – Innovations & Peculiarities”, Marsa Dimopoulou, Lawyer specializing in Animal Law.
2. “The investigation of the correlation between animal cruelty / violence and interpersonal violence | The profile of the perpetrator”, Vangelis Drivas, Police – Clinical Psychologist / Psychotherapist & Creator of the Report Animal Abuse Greece Page.
Sunday 29/5 – Seminar (10: 00-15: 00):
“First Aid for Pets” Nefeli Sotiria Sinou, Veterinarian, Blue Animal Hospital “Blue Cross”. Alexis Mantzoros, an animal rescuer member of the Alma Libre – Hellenic Animal Rescue team, also participates to present proper trapping and collection practices for a sick or injured animal.
The follow-up of both days can be done either in person or online. The link for monitoring will be announced one day before the start of the two days on the page of the Urban Fauna of the Municipality of Athens.
