A shocking video titled “Never Leave Me” focusing on female homicide was published by Lacta on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women on October 25.
In the short story of 3 minutes, which has gone viral in the last few hours, a couple appears, who at the beginning of their relationship spend a lot of time together and are happy. The man tells the woman that no one is going to love her more than he does and asks her never to leave him. But everything changes when they start having sex, as the man shows possessive behavior, forbids his partner to go out alone, to talk on the phones, to shout at her and to have abusive behavior. He then apologized to her and told her that he loved her.
As she describes it “every time he approached me, my heart was going to break”.
When the girl, obviously unhappy, announces that she wants to separate while they are in the car, he takes her to a deserted area, starts hitting her and dragging her to the ground, while she begs for help. By the time he pushes her down a cliff and dies.
“True love is your right and we are by your side to defend it,” the video notes.
After the end of the short film, it is noted that to date, in 2021, 13 women have been murdered and thousands have been abused by those who supposedly “loved” them in an attempt to awaken women in the same position. He calls on them to recognize the signs of psychological and physical violence in a relationship, emphasizing that “this is not love”.
The video concludes that “true love is your right and we are by your side to defend it”.
The story stars Christina Cheila Fameli and Hector Liatsos, while the director is Argyris Papadimitropoulos.
