After the occurrence of heavy rains in the Attica Region on Tuesday night, the Operations Center of the Fire Brigade received 83 calls as follows:

In the area of ​​Moschato – Tavros 46 calls: 35 calls for water pumps and 11 calls for transporting people to safe places

In the area of ​​Kallithea 32 calls: 26 calls for water pumps and 6 calls for transporting people to safe places

In the area of ​​Paleo Faliro 1 call for pumping water and 1 call for transporting a person to a safe place.

In the area of ​​Agios Ioannis Rentis 1 call for water pumping and 2 calls for transport of people to safe places.

The operational plan for dealing with the risks of floods, as well as their accompanying phenomena, remains in place, while the Fire Services of the areas where the phenomena are expected to develop remain in a state of increased readiness and further escalation, if necessary, with dispersion. personnel and vehicles in order to deal immediately with any problems.

The Fire Brigade asks the citizens to be especially careful and in case of dangerous weather phenomena, to faithfully follow the instructions of the competent authorities.
