In this case, two locals, aged 34 and 50, were identified as perpetrators, against whom a criminal case was filed for attempted homicide by complicity and use of weapons.
The case was investigated attempted murder of the 43-year-old committed on May 30, 2022 in Rhodes. The perpetrators are two locals who were located and arrested.
According to an announcement by ELAS, the search was carried out by police officers of the Rhodes Security Sub-Directorate and the Criminological Services (D.E.E.-G.E.E.) of the Greek Police.
In this case, two locals, aged 34 and 50, were identified as perpetrators, against whom a criminal case was filed for attempted homicide by complicity and use of weapons.
In particular, during the autopsy at the scene and the collection – evaluation of pre-investigation data and data, findings emerged that identified the two arrested persons as suspects.
Early this morning, they were brought by the police officers handling the case to the Rhodes Security Sub-Directorate, where the examinees admitted and described their act.
As it turned out, the two perpetrators entered the plot where the 43-year-old lived in the evening hours of May 30, 2022, in order to locate-remove electrical material, however they were noticed, quarreled with him, injured him with an iron object and fled. The object they used was found and confiscated.
The perpetrators were arrested following the issuance of a relevant warrant and will be taken to the Rhodes Prosecutor’s Office.
