Local rains and thunderstorms are expected tomorrow in much of the country

They are expected on Tuesday sparse clouds which in the eastern and northern continents and in the mountains will be denser in places. Local rains and thunderstorms expected in Macedonia, Eastern Thessaly and Eviawhich from noon will extend to the mountains and semi-mountains of the mainland and Crete as well as to the Southern Ionian.

The effects in the mountains and semi-mountains will be strong in places and will be accompanied by hail. Dust concentrations in the west and south will be relatively high.

The temperature, according to the meteo of the National Observatory of Athens, will range in Western Macedonia from 15 to 27 degrees Celsius, in the rest of Macedonia from 17 to 30, in Thessaly in the Eastern Continent and in the Eastern Peloponnese from 20 to 32, in Epirus and Western Sterea from 18 to 34, in the Western Peloponnese from 18 to 35, in the Ionian Islands from 18 to 32, in the islands of the North Aegean and the Sporades from 19 to 29, in the islands of the Eastern Aegean from 21 to 31, in the Cyclades and in the Dodecanese from 20 to 31 and in Crete from 19 to 32 degrees Celsius.

Winds in the Aegean will blow from north 3 to 5 Beaufort and east 4 to 6 Beaufort. In the north of Crete the winds until the morning will blow from west directions 2 to 4 Beaufort. In the Ionian the winds will blow from northwest directions 2 to 4 Beaufort, but after the afternoon they will change to 3 Beaufort.

In Attica sunshine is expected with only local clouds at intervals, while there is a possibility of light local rains for the north of the prefecture at noon and afternoon. The winds will blow from north 2 to 4 Beaufort and from morning to afternoon 3 to 5 Beaufort. The temperature in the center of Athens will range from 25 to 30 degrees Celsius.

In the prefecture of Thessaloniki Cloudy skies with occasional showers and thunderstorms are expected. The winds will blow from south up to 2 Beaufort and at noon and afternoon up to 3 Beaufort. The temperature in the center of Thessaloniki will range from 22 to 27 degrees Celsius.
