The 37-year-old Vazquez caught her eye during Johnny Depp’s trial against Amber Heard, something that seems to have made her sought after in the legal circles.
After the victory in the trial of Johnny Depp, where she surprised with her appearance, Camille Vazquez is said to have become sought after. Sources reveal in New York Post how many big law firms want it in their team.
The 37-year-old Vazquez even became a meme for her style in the many confrontations she had with Amber Heard, but also during the examinations of the witnesses.
“Talent agendas surround Camille because they recognize her as the unicorn – a smart, balanced lawyer whose impressive stance during the trial raised her to a rare level of visibility,” said a source.
Vazquez and her colleagues convinced jurors that Herd defamed Depp for all three charges against the actress because she wrote in a Washington Post article in 2018 that she was “a public figure representing domestic abuse.”
“Camille is undoubtedly a great voice for legal opinion and the networks are naturally looking forward to talking to her about opportunities in the glass,” said a former network executive who is aware of the proposals.
Now, the famous lawyer Judd Burstein estimates that the 37-year-old lawyer will soon become a partner.
“No company would have allowed it to play a role in a big lawsuit like this if it were not for a partner,” said Burstein, who represents Nicki Minaj. “There are two factors that contribute to becoming a partner – the quality of your law and your ability to attract business. “She can probably go anywhere and make a good deal for herself.”
A legal source confirmed what Burstein suspected. “The legal community is buzzing with companies struggling to make the best offer and include Camille in their team,” the source said. “She is a shark and her performance in the trial showed that.”
Comparing Vazquez with Herd’s lawyer, the source said: “Camille’s skills in litigation were far more effective than Elaine Bredehoft to the point where I almost felt bad for Elaine when she was surpassed by such a colleague. “I am shocked that he was not promoted before the trial and I would have been completely speechless if he had not been promoted by now.”
Brown Rudnick told the Post that she was “excited that so many people are seeing what we have known for years: that Camille Vazquez is a star”.
“We were always sure he had what it took to succeed in this field. That is why he is a key member of the trial team and has a bright future with us, “the company added.
