Buddy Valastro, the baker who became a celebrity with the reality show Cake Boss, decided to play Willy Wonka, from “The Fantastic Chocolate Factory”, and randomly spread ten winning tickets on cakes sold in the six units of his store in São Paulo, the Carlo’s Bakery. Whoever finds the ticket will be able to have a pastry chef’s day with him, at his brand’s factory, in Pinheiros, on the west side of the city.
He will still give free classes and open to the public in malls in the state. On the 16th, from 10 am, it will go to the parking lot of Internacional Shopping, in Guarulhos. Then, at 17:00, he will show up at Shopping Eldorado, in the capital.
In the lectures, he says he will teach how to decorate cakes and make cannoli.
But it is only on the 18th that the meeting between the confectioner and the ten people who find the winning tickets takes place. With the right to an escort, as well as in the story of the movie starring Johnny Depp and before by Gene Wilder, the idea is that Buddy takes the day to fraternize with the fans and teach some of his techniques.
The baker became famous for creating unusual cakes on the reality show Cake Boss, which has numerous seasons available on Discovery+. Episodes show the production of candy in bizarre shapes, such as dinosaur, Hawaiian dancer and even one that imitates a tooth.
To find the winning tickets, just try your luck and choose a cake at any Carlo’s Bakery store — see the addresses on the brand’s website.
