These are the new fares for taxis – At 4 euros the minimum route

A new single tariff is introduced for taxi fares throughout the country, by Decision of the Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, responsible for Transport Mr. Michalis Papadopoulos.

The invoice, which includes 13% Value Added Tax (VAT), is as follows:

• Start of the fare (flag drop): 1.8 euros

• Invoice 1 (single charge): 0.9 euros

• Invoice 2 (for the hours 00.00 to 05.00): 1.25 euros

• Time charge / hour (for the period when the TAXI is stopped during the execution of the route for twenty (20) minutes): 15 euros

• Minimum route: 4 euros

• From & To Airports: 4 euros

• Surcharge for each lease from Ports – Railway Stations and Intercity Bus Stations: 1.07 (as applicable)

• Airport – center of Athens (ring) and vice versa: 40 euros

• Airport – Athens center (ring) and vice versa (for the hours 00.00 to 05.00): 55 euros

• Airport – center of Thessaloniki and vice versa: 25 euros

• Airport – center of Thessaloniki and vice versa (for the hours 00.00 to 05.00): 35 euros

• Airport – center of Kavala and vice versa: 40 euros

• Airport – center of Kavala and vice versa (for the hours 00.00 to 05.00): 55 euros

It is clarified that the charge for the rent of 4 euros on the routes to and from the airports, concerns all routes to and from the airports of the country, except for the three routes where predetermined pricing is established (Airport “El. Venizelos” – Athens ring , “Macedonia” Airport – center of Thessaloniki and Kavala Airport “Alexander the Great” – center of Kavala and in the opposite directions).

Also, the fare for each (1) luggage of passengers weighing more than ten (10) kg, remains at 0.39 euros including VAT.

The new invoice will enter into force upon publication of the Decision in the Government Gazette.
