Mercury climbs: “Hot” next week

The weather will be hot next week with the temperature rising and the thermometer reaching in places up to 38 degrees Celsius.

The rise in temperature will begin to be felt from Tuesday.

Analytically:

The Mondaythe weather will be generally clear, with temporary clouds on the mainland at noon and in the afternoon, when local showers and isolated thunderstorms will occur in the mountains.

The winds will be in the west variable 3 to 4 and from noon west northwest locally up to 5 Beaufort. In the east will blow north northwest 4 to 5 and in the Aegean 5 to 6 Beaufort, from the afternoon they will turn to west northwest with a slight weakening.

The temperature will rise slightly and will reach 29 to 31 degrees on the mainland and 32 degrees in places and 28 to 30 degrees Celsius on the islands.

MACEDONIA, THRACE
Weather: Generally clear. During the noon and afternoon hours, temporary clouds will develop and in the mountains, mainly in Macedonia, local showers and isolated thunderstorms will occur.
Winds: Variable 2 to 3 and in the east from north directions up to 4 Beaufort. From noon they will turn to south southwest 3 to 4 beauforts.
Temperature: From 14 to 31 degrees Celsius.

IONIAN ISLANDS, EPIRUS, WESTERN STAND, WESTERN PELOPONNESE
Weather: Generally clear. During the noon and afternoon hours on the mainland, temporary clouds will develop and in the mountains, local showers and isolated thunderstorms will occur.

Winds: Variable 3 to 4 and from noon west northwest locally up to 5 Beaufort
Temperature: From 18 to 31 degrees Celsius.

THESSALY, EASTERN CENTRAL, EASTERN PELOPONNESE
Weather: Generally clear. During the noon and afternoon hours, temporary clouds will develop and local showers and isolated thunderstorms will occur in the mainland mountains.

Winds: From north 3 to 4 and in the east local 5 Beaufort. Gradually from noon they will turn to west northwest 3 to 5 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 18 to 32 degrees Celsius.

CYCLADES, CRETE
Weather: Generally clear. Temporary clouds in the mountains of Crete at noon and in the afternoon.
Winds: North northwest 4 to 6, turning from noon to west northwest to 5 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 21 to 28 degrees Celsius.

EASTERN AEGEAN ISLANDS – DODECANESE
Weather: Generally clear.
Winds: North northwest 4 to 6 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 21 to 30 degrees Celsius.

Weather: Generally clear, with occasional clouds at noon and in the afternoon.
Winds: From north 3 to 5 and south in the morning locally up to 6 Beaufort. From the afternoon they will turn to the west and will weaken.

The weather on Tuesday

Generally clear weather, with a few temporary clouds in the north during the noon and afternoon hours, when local showers may occur in the mountains of Macedonia.

Visibility in the morning to the west will be locally limited.

Winds will blow west northwest 3 to 5, south 6 and gradually southeast locally up to 7 Beaufort.

The temperature will rise and will reach their eastern continents 34 to 36, while in Thessaly locally 37 to 38 degrees Celsius.

In the rest of the mainland and on their islands 31 to 34 degrees Celsius.

The weather on Wednesday

Generally clear weather, with temporary clouds on the mainland in the noon and afternoon hours. Visibility in the morning to the west will be locally limited.

The winds will blow north northwest 3 to 5 and in the southeast Aegean 5 to 6 Beaufort. The temperature will rise throughout the country and will reach 35 to 37 degrees on the mainland and 38 to 39 degrees Celsius in places on the eastern continent.

The weather on Thursday

In Macedonia, Thrace a few clouds temporarily increased with local showers mainly at noon and in the afternoon. In the rest of the regions generally clear weather with temporary clouds on the mainland in the noon and afternoon hours.

The winds will blow north northwest 3 to 5 and in the southeastern Aegean 5 to 6 and from the afternoon locally up to 7 Beaufort. The temperature will rise further and will reach their mainland 36 to 39 and in Thessaly locally 40 degrees Celsius.

The weather on Friday

Generally clear weather, with temporary clouds on the mainland, mainly in the east, at noon and in the afternoon, when local showers may occur.

Winds from north 3 to 5, in the seas locally 6 and gradually in the central – southern Aegean up to 7 Beaufort. The temperature will fluctuate at high levels.
