The 20-page report on Malena and Iris states that their death was due to a suffocating death.

Suffocating death with a different mechanism from an exogenous factor. This is the conclusion reached and recorded in their conclusion by Nikos Kalogrias and Nikos Karakoukis regarding the death of Malena and Iris, the two youngest children of the Daskalaki – Pispirigou family from Patras.

The report was sent yesterday to the Homicide Department, which is investigating the case that has shocked Greece.

According to information, the 20-page report excludes all other pathological causes that could be hidden behind the death of the two young children.

For Malena in particular, the finding essentially shows airway obstruction, nose and mouth by hand in the hospital where she was treated. The finding rules out that the abrasions on the girl’s nose and cheek were caused either during the recovery process in the hospital or by the child’s fingernails, as claimed by the pre-trial mother, Roula Pispirigou.

For the six-month-old Iris, the airways were blocked with a rag at the family home. For the degenerative cells of the child, the experts concluded that it resulted from an extensive lack of oxygen and not from liver failure, as stated by the original cause of death.

Roula Pispirigou’s sister, Dimitra, is the last person from whom the police officers of the life crimes department will take a statement, before handing over the finding and the results of the statements, which found Iris dead.

Testimonies have already been made by 30 medical friends and nurses and will be completed within the next 48 hours so that on Thursday they can deliver the results from the testimonies and the competent investigator in order to judge whether there will be additional prosecutions.
