Unlike their parents who returned to prison, for the two children the Court decided to suspend their sentence.

The deadly clash had poisoned the atmosphere in the Roma settlement, with its residents talking about a “vendetta” at the time, while it is characteristic that a few 24 hours after the incident, the houses of the accused and their relatives were engulfed in flames.

The two families of peddlers were selling their wares in the port of Thessaloniki, while before the murder there were frequent disputes between them. The victims were beaten wildly with knives and sticks. 18-year-old Isaac succumbed to his injuries, while his father was hospitalized for several days.
