Spaten Garten takes experience from biergartens to Ibirapuera Park – Full glass

by

One of the most traditional beers in Munich (the city of beer), Spaten arrived in Brazil only this year. The brand is also one of six official Oktoberfest in the Bavarian city, the main festival of its kind in the world.

But if there is no Oktoberfest in Munich, Spaten brings all its beer garden expertise to São Paulo: large open areas with communal tables, served with lots of beer and German food.

The Spaten Garten will be open in the middle of Ibirapuera Park, from November 4th to 7th (Thursday to Sunday) and from November 12th to 15th (Friday to Monday, with the holiday as the last day). Right in front of the auditorium, tables for four or six people will be installed — you must buy tickets for the entire table, which avoids crowding with strangers. The closest access to the event is at gate 3.

The experiment takes place in three daily shifts of three hours each, from 12:00 to 15:00, 16:00 to 19:00 and 20:00 to 23:00. It is possible to book the ticket through the event website (click here). “Spaten’s arrival in Brazil proposes a cultural immersion in the German beer universe. Only those who have over 600 years of expertise could bring a new way to enjoy the city, offering the best German style”, says Joice Carvalho, brand marketing manager.

The ticket entitles you to a mug of Spaten beer. In addition to the traditional munich helles, which belongs to Ambev’s portfolio, other brands will be at the event — which was not revealed. To complete the experience, there will be live music. On the weekend, the table with four seats costs R$220; with six, R$330.

To enter you must be over 18 years old and show proof of vaccination of at least one dose. In addition to São Paulo, the event takes place in three other cities in the country: Porto Alegre (11-18 to 21), Curitiba (11-25 to 28) and Salvador (2-5/12).
